Raw Greek Forest Honey

Forest honey is made from the sugary solutions that bees collect from the leaves of the trees, rather than the nectar of flowers. This beautiful raw honey is imported directly from the island of Evia, Greece by our friend Nikki at Portoula. Evia is known for its beautiful, lush pine forests, and an ideal microclimate for producing this highly aromatic and delicious honey. The gentle extraction and minimal handling from the beekeeper ensures that the rich yet delicate flavor of the honey is retained.
Tasting notes: Complex, earthy, sweet and spicy! With a heavenly pine aroma and a lightly resinous finish. Lovely served with sharp, nutty cheeses or soft bloomy rind cheeses.
